Peake Family Chiropractic is a woman-owned chiropractic clinic in Howard County focusing on care for the entire family, all ages and stages.
Hello! My name is Sarah Barbee, DC (she/her); I’m a chiropractor in Ellicott City, MD who works with families of all ages and activity levels. My goal is to help Howard County families live happier and healthier lives through chiropractic and physical therapy.
I became a chiropractor because I could see how beneficial it was to helping get people active. My grandfather was a chiropractor, though he passed away when I was young, it sparked a curiosity. The more I learned, the more I wanted to use chiropractic to help my community get moving to stay healthy. Since then, I’ve strived to help people of all ages move better and feel better. I graduated from New York Chiropractic College (now Northeast College of Health Sciences) in 2010 with a Doctor of Chiropractic. I worked for a wellness clinic for 5 years and then a clinic focused on trauma and motor vehicle collisions for another 10 years. Now in 2025, I finally opened Peake Family Chiropractic. It’s been an extremely rewarding experience.
I truly enjoy working with my patients and am committed to enhancing the lives of those in the community. I believe in seeing each patient as an individual and helping them meet their goals with ethical and honest care. I believe in a small town feel with big city resources, which means I’ll treat you with personal and friendly, yet professional care. When our community is healthier and happier, we can all benefit!
When I’m not working at my Ellicott City chiropractic clinic, you’ll find me running, hiking, going to the beach or spending time with my husband, two young children (6 and 4) and two wild huskies.
